Jennifer Lopez has attended the Met Gala in NYC many times in the past.

Her dresses have always been outstanding with vibrant colors, plunging necklines and dramatic mermaid finishes.

And her dates have been A-list. She has been seen with Diddy, Marc Anthony, Casper Smart, Alex Rodriguez and Ben Affleck. 

Now the This Is Me... Now will be co-chairing the event for Anna Wintour along with Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny.

The Met Gala returns on May 6 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

The 2024 Costume Institute exhibition, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, will feature approximately 250 items drawn from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection.

Here is a look back at what JLo has worn during the most important night in fashion.

Lopez hit her stride in 2006.

The star, whose recent hit was El Cantante, was polished to perfection.

The Jenny From The Block crooner opted for a one-shoulder gown in a soft white color with a sheer mermaid finish and her hair down.

The designer was Versace. 

She added long earrings and carried a clutch purse for a very slick look. 

The theme was Anglomania: Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion.

Lopez was promoting her drama Bordertown when she hit the Met Gala in 2007.

Her glam was perfect too. She added a sparkly hair clip on her curly bob. The clip  matched her earrings and clutch purse.

Her strawberry red hair was worn in soft waves and she had on an oversized cuff that matched her drop earrings earrings. 

At the time, she was about to start filming her romantic comedy movie The Backup Plan.

Her date for the night was Ben Affleck who wore a black tuxedo with bow tie.
